Free Online Image Editor
A real editor in your browser — layers, text, shapes, filters, crop and every social preset. Nothing to install.
Free, no signup — everything runs in your browser
Add text, an image or a shape — or start from a template
A real editor, not a template picker
Most free online editors are a grid of templates with your photo dropped into a hole. This one has layers you can reorder and lock, text with genuine typographic control, shapes, filters, cropping and alignment — the things you actually reach for when a post has to look right rather than look made.
It is the same editor built into Social Magnum. We unlocked it because a tool you can try without an account is a better argument than a screenshot of one.
Your files stay on your machine
Editing happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded while you work, nothing is stored on our servers, and the page keeps working if your connection drops. That is a privacy property, but it is also why it feels fast — there is no round trip between dragging a handle and seeing the result.
What an account adds
- Media Library — one place for every asset, reachable from the editor and the composer.
- Saved designs — come back to a layered file tomorrow instead of starting over.
- Send to composer — finish a graphic and schedule it to eight networks without downloading anything.
- AI edits — remove an object or extend a background from inside the canvas.
Everything else — every layer, every filter, every export — stays free and unlocked on this page.
Common questions
- Is it really free, with no watermark?
- Yes. Export as many designs as you like at full resolution with nothing stamped on them. The editor is the same one our paying customers use inside the app — an account adds the Media Library, saved designs and posting, not the editing.
- Do I need to sign up?
- No. Open the page and start. Your work is kept in this browser as you go, so a refresh does not lose it, and the download button works without an account.
- Are my images uploaded to a server?
- Not while you edit. Images are read from your disk into the page and every layer, filter and crop is applied on your own machine. The only things that leave your browser are the ones you explicitly ask for — saving to a Media Library or using an AI edit — and both of those need an account.
- What can it actually do?
- Layers with reordering and locking, text with real typography controls, shapes, images, filters and adjustments, cropping, alignment tools, and every social size as a preset. It is a proper editor, not a meme generator.
- Does it work on a phone?
- It runs, but a canvas editor with a layers panel wants a pointer and some screen. On a phone, the image resizer will serve you better; save the editor for a laptop.
